Bridget Riley
Founder and Managing Director
Bridget is a tax lawyer, enrolled as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in New Zealand and South Africa and a tax specialist with 28 years’ experience in New Zealand.
She advises acquisitive commercial enterprises, private equity, VC, corporate M&A and property investor clients on the taxation implications and aspects of their transactions.
Additionally, Bridget works with business owners and decision makers in both the corporate and privately owned sectors to unlock value through effective tax planning and sound business decision-making.
Bridget has extensive experience in advising both international and New Zealand businesses of all shapes and sizes at different stages of the business life-cycle. She also has a strong practice advising individuals on tax aspects of their private wealth and asset management, succession planning and asset protection.
Bridget enjoys working with clients across a broad range of industries including tourism, technology, the energy sector, automotive, property, insurance, manufacture and distribution sectors and provides advice on a wide range of tax issues including a special focus on international tax, setting up business in New Zealand or expanding their fast-growing, New Zealand-owned businesses offshore.
